2025 Bubwith’s Bash

This Fun Day was really well received by the community and we estimate that 225 adults and 75 children attended.
The fun day set up was great and so many people came along at 8am to help set up tables, chairs, gazebos etc and this ensured we were ready for the start.
The day was aimed at families and many others attended as well, the children loved the bungee jumping plus spent so much time in the inflatables, they loved handling reptiles and the face painters were busy. The clown entertained in small groups and the disco kept up a good background sound to match the atmosphere
Children experienced so many different things that were outside of their normal life and their parents and friends were able to enjoy a social afternoon knowing that their children were in a safe environment.
We had 4 volunteers dressed as characters from the Jungle Book and this went down well with adults and children alike.
Speaking to volunteers before and during the event they enjoyed working together to provide a reason for residents to come together and meet each other in a relaxed atmosphere.
Our local Church provided food and hopefully made much needed funds for the Church plus our tennis club set up a barbecue as the organised activities finished and many people stayed on into the early evening to continue socialising.
A truly brilliant community day.
