The Upstairs Room is now vacant and we are shortly starting to redecorate and update the whole space including the kitchenette and toilet area. This will freshen up the space ready for new groups to hire out. More details to follow.
The Community Cafe on a Friday 10-12 continues to grow in support week on week incorporating the Knit and Natter and the Walking Group. A Repair Cafe is being investigated too.
We will be improving the drainage on the playing field and have already relined for four pitches. We are investigating external gym equipment and will possibly create a pétanque court, if there is sufficient interest. The playground too will be revisited by the Committee. Such large amounts of money are needed for this, but we are searching for new finance channels. The terrace railings will be stained too as the weather warms up and we can then enjoy the outside seating area to it’s best advantage
