We have orchestral instruments plus guitars\, saxophones and recorders. Our members are both children and adult beginners\, adults who learned as children and have dusted off their instruments\, through to post-grade 8 members\, one of whom plays with the European Doctors Orchestra and another who is studying harp at The Royal Conservatoire of Scotland – Kaleidoscope Orchestra is a fun place to be! \nWe play a variety of music\, from ‘Dance Macabre’ to ‘Beauty and the Beast’\, ‘Finlandia’ and a ‘Queen’ medley currently in the repertoire. Music is written to accommodate all abilities. \nWe rehearse on Thursday evenings from 7.30pm – 8.45pm\, with a break-in the middle for a quick cuppa and a biscuit – somehow we always play better after a pit stop! Membership Fee equates to just £2 per week! First week is free. \nKaleidoscope members are a very friendly bunch who enjoy helping each other with their music and instruments. Our members are both children and adult beginners\, adults who learned as children and have dusted off their instruments\, through to post-grade 8 members\, one of whom plays with the European Doctors Orchestra and another who is studying harp at The Royal Conservatoire of Scotland – Kaleidoscope Orchestra is a fun place to be! \nWe play a variety of music\, from ‘Dance Macabre’ to ‘Beauty and the Beast’\, ‘Finlandia’ and a ‘Queen’ medley currently in the repertoire. Music is written to accommodate all abilities. \nWe rehearse on Thursday evenings from 7.30pm – 8.45pm\, with a break-in the middle for a quick cuppa and a biscuit – somehow we always play better after a pit stop! Our members are both children and adult beginners\, adults who learned as children and have dusted off their instruments\, through to post-grade 8 members\, one of whom plays with the European Doctors Orchestra and another who is studying harp at The Royal Conservatoire of Scotland – Kaleidoscope Orchestra is a fun place to be! \nWe play a variety of music\, from ‘Dance Macabre’ to ‘Beauty and the Beast’\, ‘Finlandia’ and a ‘Queen’ medley currently in the repertoire. Music is written to accommodate all abilities. \nWe rehearse on Thursday evenings from 7.30pm – 8.45pm\, with a break-in the middle for a quick cuppa and a biscuit – somehow we always play better after a pit stop! Membership Fee equates to just £2 per week! First week is free. \nKaleidoscope members are a very friendly bunch who enjoy helping each other with their music and instruments.
