Our members are both children and adult beginners\, adults who learned as children and have dusted off their instruments\, through to post-grade 8 members\, one of whom plays with the European Doctors Orchestra and another who is studying harp at The Royal Conservatoire of Scotland – Kaleidoscope Orchestra is a fun place to be! \nWe play a variety of music\, from ‘Dance Macabre’ to ‘Beauty and the Beast’\, ‘Finlandia’ and a ‘Queen’ medley currently in the repertoire. Music is written to accommodate all abilities. \nWe rehearse on Thursday evenings from 7.30pm – 8.45pm\, with a break-in the middle for a quick cuppa and a biscuit – somehow we always play better after a pit stop! Our members are both children and adult beginners\, adults who learned as children and have dusted off their instruments\, through to post-grade 8 members\, one of whom plays with the European Doctors Orchestra and another who is studying harp at The Royal Conservatoire of Scotland – Kaleidoscope Orchestra is a fun place to be! \nWe play a variety of music\, from ‘Dance Macabre’ to ‘Beauty and the Beast’\, ‘Finlandia’ and a ‘Queen’ medley currently in the repertoire. Music is written to accommodate all abilities. \nWe rehearse on Thursday evenings from 7.30pm – 8.45pm\, with a break-in the middle for a quick cuppa and a biscuit – somehow we always play better after a pit stop! Membership Fee equates to just £2 per week! First week is free. \nKaleidoscope members are a very friendly bunch who enjoy helping each other with their music and instruments.
