Gentle yoga is for everyone: old, young, in or out-of-shape, bendy or stiff, calm or stressed. It’s a friendly, accessible path to better physical and mental health for all.
Several studies have shown the many mental and physical benefits of yoga. Incorporating it into your routine can help enhance your health, increase strength and flexibility and reduce symptoms of stress, depression and anxiety. And a recent study has shown that practicing regular yoga results in higher serotonin levels (the happiness hormone). What’s not to love?
There are weekly yoga classes at The Bubwith Sports and Leisure Centre:
6:45-8:00pm on Tuesdays, upstairs in the Cyril Wides Room.
If you are new to yoga just bring yourself – I have mats and equipment to get you started.
